Publishing every week without recording more
In the episode we talked about why most podcasts publish one episode and then disappear until the next one. It is rarely a shortage of ideas: everything stays inside the audio and nobody pulls it out.
An episode is not one piece, it is ten
An hour of conversation holds the blog article, the vertical cuts, the thread and the newsletter. What is missing is almost never content; it is the time to get it out of the recording.
Where to start
With what is already recorded. Last week’s episode still works, and nobody has read it yet.
What to measure in the first month
Pieces published per episode. If one recording yields one thing, the problem is not reach: it is what you do with the material.
