HOW IT WORKS

How do you turn a video into an Instagram carousel?

Turning a video into an Instagram carousel with ClipHit takes four steps: upload the file, the AI transcribes the whole recording and writes 4 to 8 slides at 1080×1350, each with text sized to its own character budget. You then edit the text right on each slide and export the PNG, one at a time or the whole set.

  1. 01

    Upload the file

MP4, MOV, WebM and AVI, or audio on its own in MP3, M4A, WAV and AAC. What counts is the minutes on your plan, not the length of the file.

  2. 02

    It gets transcribed in full

The complete transcript of the video is what the slides are written from, not a three-line summary.

  3. 03

    The slides get written

4 to 8 of them, in three types: cover, quote and moment. Each with text sized to its own space, not trimmed from the last one.

  4. 04

    You edit them and export

Type directly on the slide, switch the palette if you want, and download the PNG for one or the whole set.

THE CAROUSEL, INSIDE CLIPHIT

Every slide stands alone. Together, they're a carousel.

The slides show up in your Publication Hub as an editor: type directly on each one, switch the palette, and see the rest of the set beside it. When they're ready, download the PNG for one or for all of them.

WHY IT COMES OUT WELL

Every slide makes sense on its own

It's the rule every set is written under: someone can see slide 4 in their feed without having seen 1, 2 and 3, and it still has to make sense. That's why no slide depends on the one before it.

The text fits the slide, not the other way around

Each slide type has its own character budget. The AI writes inside that budget, so text never comes out cut off or shrunk down until it disappears.

Exports the real PNG, not a screenshot

What you edit is what you download: a PNG rendered at 1080×1350, ready to upload to Instagram as is, one slide or the whole set.

FROM THE SAME VIDEO

The carousel isn't the only piece that comes out of the video.

The same upload gives you the vertical clips, the blog post, the YouTube chapters, the X thread, the LinkedIn post and the newsletter. They're written in the background and show up on their own.
